This is the conclusion of the "Children of Eternity" series. Since Sam is 17 at this point, this story caters more exclusively to the grown-ups. Maybe too much. Here are some of the issues that come up: rape, sodomy, child abuse, gender confusion, cross dressing, alcoholism, and a lesbian kiss just for starters. There are also a lot of swears, especially when Sam gets drunk (twice, in the same bar) that would definitely give this an R rating.
Among the children of Eternity, an enemy lurks in plain sight. This Judas has been plotting her revenge on Samantha Young for years. She finally unleashes her diabolical scheme, harnessing the power of the Fountain of Youth against the other children.
Samantha and her friends Prudence and Wendell are transported by the fountain back in time, where they must confront their forgotten pasts in order to save the future.
A note on how this is put together: after the first six chapters there's one part that focuses on Samantha in the 20th Century, another focusing on Prudence/Wendell in the 17th Century, and another focusing on the other children in the present day. To keep it straight I assigned each chapter a number from 1-50.
Please enjoy "When You Were Young..."
